Workshops

Working sessions taught from fifteen years of shipped work — not slideware. Human–machine collaboration, frequency-conscious composition, long-form world-building, and the business of owning your archive. Remote by default, worldwide.

01

Taught From the Work Itself

Every session below is drawn from a completed, owned body of work: the 15-year NAOPC transmedia canon, dozens of albums on professor:clock records, 160+ published articles, and four live web properties. Nothing is taught that has not already been shipped under this roof.

The instructor is Damien Lamar, founder and creative director — 25+ years across A&R, electronic music, and narrative design. Sessions follow the same six-step engagement published at Our Process: you request, we scope, you approve, we deliver. No generic curriculum; every workshop is calibrated to the room it is taught in.

The Passionate Tango

Human–Machine Creative Collaboration

How to direct generative AI without surrendering authorship. Prompt systems as creative instruments, curation discipline, and the iteration ratios that separate a catalog from a content farm. Built for producers, labels, and creative teams adopting AI on their own terms.

Proof: 5,000+ prompt iterations curated into finished albums across the later NAOPC volumes — method, not magic.

Frequency-Conscious Composition

Music Production & Sound Design

Composing for the nervous system, not just the charts: 432 Hz base tuning, solfeggio distribution, binaural architecture, and how to carry a frequency concept from session file to mastered release. For composers, producers, and sound designers.

Proof: INTENDED RECEIVERS — 26 tracks, 51:25, fully binaural, 432 Hz base with 528 Hz threading. Hear it at Music.

The Long Canon

Transmedia World-Building

Designing a story universe that compounds instead of fragmenting: character governance, brand architecture — one master brand, six living properties — and release strategy measured in years, not quarters. For studios, writers' rooms, and artists building beyond a single release.

Proof: The New Adventures of ProfessorClock — a 15-year, 13-volume canon, completed 2025 and owned outright.

Own Your Archive

Independent Publishing & Web

Converting a body of work into one commercial asset: static-first web production, netlabel operations, catalog stewardship, and why the platforms you rent should never hold the only copy. For independent artists, archivists, and small studios.

Proof: this site — hand-authored, dependency-free, and the consolidated front door for the entire estate.

Formats & Engagement

The Session 90 minutes · Virtual

One topic, one room, live Q&A. The fastest way to put a method in front of your team or classroom.

The Intensive Half day · Virtual or on site

Lecture plus hands-on lab. Participants leave with work started, not just notes taken.

The Residency Multi-week · Cohort

A recurring cohort working toward a finished artifact — a track, a canon bible, a published archive — with critique between meetings.

Remote collaboration is the default; in-person is arranged per engagement. Pricing follows scope and is quoted after a short consult, per the process. Classrooms and community organizations: say so in the request — the rate card is not one-size-fits-all.
